Rob Parton

Bradley Young is proud to present one of the most respected musicians performing for special events today – internationally renowned trumpeter and recording artist, Rob Parton!

As a studio musician, Parton has played on hundreds of both local and national radio and television commercials and many local CD projects not only as lead trumpet but contractor. Parton has performed with the Chicago Symphony, Milwaukee Symphony, Doc Severinson, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra Jr., Mel Torme, Natalie Cole and Maynard Ferguson to name a few. Parton has appeared at the Umbria Jazz Festival in Perugia Italy as well as many other European Jazz Festivals.

As a freelance trumpet player Rob Parton has worked for many bandleaders in the Chicago area. In 1987 Parton began working on a regular basis with the Bradley Young Orchestra and began observing how to pace a party. This experience has proven to be priceless as Rob has developed into a brilliant bandleader and music director – he really knows how to pack the dancefloor, turn up the heat and keep the party burnin’. Frequently, Rob is asked to lead the Bradley Young Orchestra at many distinguished events, such as the Make A Wish Ball, The Chicago International Film Festival, The Shedd Aquarium Donor’s Ball, and the Women’s Board of the University of Chicago’s Cancer Research Gala.

Rob continues to compose and perform with his world renowned Jazz Tech Big Band as well as leading Bradley’s incredible Up All Night Band.
